Dyson is amping up their offerings with Dyson Zone, a set of wireless air-purifying headphones, marking the company’s first step into audio and wearable technologies.
The product comprises a set of over-ear, noise-cancelling headphones and a visor which aims to deliver clean air to the wearer.
The look and design seem like it’s made for the Covid era, but Dyson had been working on this design for years before the pandemic. It took six years of development and more than 500 prototypes before the final product.
Tapping into their expertise in airflow, filtration, and motors technologies, Dyson Zone is the company’s first step into wearable technology. Will it be another great product from Dyson? Will customers be willing to purchase a cyborg-mask-like air purifier? We just have to wait for its release in autumn this year.
